Who We Are

Lisa Bernholz-Balsam, MS, CCC-SLP/A

Lisa Bernholz-Balsam, MS, CCC-SLP/A, graduated from City University of New York, Brooklyn College, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech and Language Pathology and Audiology and a dual Masters Degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology. I hold American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) certification in both Speech and Language Pathology and Audiology, and am licensed and certified as a Speech and Language Pathologist in New Jersey and New York, and as an Audiologist in New York. In addition, I hold professional affiliation with the American Speech and Hearing Association and the New York and New Jersey Speech and Hearing Associations. In September 1998, I was hired by the Therapeutic Nursery at the JCC on the Palisades, a parent/child interdisciplinary pre-school program. I continue to work at the Therapeutic Nursery where I am the speech and language team supervisor. I presently divide my time between the Therapeutic Nursery and the Tenafly Speech and Language Center.
